Review Methodology
Each mixer review is based on:
- Feature verification: We independently confirm the supported coins, fee structures, output address limits, delay options, and other technical parameters.
- Trust signals: We check for Tor availability, letter of guarantee issuance, no-logs claims, domain age, and community reputation.
- Technology assessment: We classify the mixing approach (pool-based, CoinJoin, zk-SNARK, exchange-sourced) and evaluate the privacy guarantees each provides.
- Sanctions and legal status: We monitor OFAC sanctions, law enforcement actions, and regulatory developments affecting mixer services.
Independence
Our reviews are editorially independent. Listed services do not pay for placement or favorable reviews. Our revenue comes from affiliate relationships with some listed services — clearly disclosed where applicable. Affiliate status never influences ratings or verdicts.
